Nebula Battle
This is my 2D Shooter Project called Nebula Battle!
MODIFICATIONS
There are various things I modified within the game such as:
- I changed the Title from Space Blaster to Nebula Battle.
- From the Main Menu you can see that I added in an Instruction Tab that works.
- The background on the Main Menu Screen is updated and has many little space assets floating around for flavour.
- When you go into the first level you will see that the background and music are not the same music that the project told us to follow and the area that you can fly around in is a tad bigger so that I could add in all the extra assets and enemies.
- I added several planets, space stations, asteroids and black holes throughout all the levels and changed the rotation of them. These do not cause you harm, but as I learn Unity better I hope to make it so that each asteroid destroyed gives you points.
- At the current moment you can fly on top of most of the objects but the enemies can hide behind the, This makes the game a tad harder as their projectiles can be hid by the local environment and it makes the scene more like an obstacle in itself!
- I also changed the rotation of some of the resting enemies so that their projectiles would shoot in different directions to make the enemy have a different type of behaviour.
- On the third level I implemented a spawner that spawns 6 additional enemies (1 every 4 seconds) for the total of 25 enemies. So there is 19 at the beginning of the level and 25 to overcome overall.
- I also set the game so that instead of only having to destroy 3 enemies, the first level is 9 enemies, the second level is 15 enemies, and the third level is 25 enemies.
